“Jerusalem Paradox” by Victor Ostrovsky

This city referred to as holy by so many is also the sharp blade slicing through the flesh of peace. It is one city that in its unity maintains the feud, while its division is for some unthinkable. The city of peace, which in itself both prevents it and holds the key to it, is clearly a paradox. This is one of Victor’s signature pieces and showcases many of the symbols that define the spy world for him. The Dome of the Rock in the background is a well-known religious structure and landmark in Jerusalem. It is also afflicted with extreme contention between the various religions of the region.
